Copper Woods Suri Alpaca Farm LLC is located in the southern part of Maine, in the quaint town of North Yarmouth. We are 15 minutes north of Portland and 2 hours north of Boston. Beautiful Lake Sebago is only 10 miles to the west and Freeport, Maine (Home of LL Bean) is just a short 7 miles to our east. A wonderful place to live, as long as you can stand the winters. It's also a great place to visit.
Our mission is to raise and breed Alpacas backed by excellent service and support, both before and after the sale. We are closely knitted with other local Alpaca breeders in the area (both Huacaya and Suri) and are finding that the relationship between us needs to be healthy, cooperative and friendly. The Alpaca breeders in this area of the country are great people that are willing to co-exist in an environment of mutual trust and friendship. Most all of the breeders in this part of southern Maine are more than willing to drop their chores to assist a neighboring farm.
